Costa Freak Fest. This trip takes you into the coastal lush jungles of the ever so magical Costa Rica. This is where the jungle and the coast mesh into one beautiful paradise! FFAT has prepared for your awesome adventure in Costa Rica. We get you to soar through the green jungles on your included zip line tour. We get you behind an ATV and motor up into the mountains for views that blow you away! And in 2010, we'll add the awesome adventure of white water rafting! That isn't all! We'll continue our exclusive FFAT/No Friends Party at Los Amigos. This is where we keep the Annual Wet T-Shit Contest alive and well. (Side note: Costa Freak Festers are not required to enter.)
Every morning starts off with a search for waves. We will make the drive to several beaches from our base, the Paraiso Del Sol hotel in Jaco Beach. The warm emerald waters that line the coast offer everything from perfect beach break wedgers to awesome reef barrels. Costa Rica has it all! Everyone will get FREE photos from FFAT... in and out of the water! That's right, FREE photos for your portfolio or whatever. FFAT Boy, Manny Vargas, has put in some serious time behind the lens and will hook you up at the end of the trip with solid photos!
To really see the truly amazing ecosystem we take the hour drive down to the park reserve of Manuel Antonio. This is where we'll see what Costa Rica is known for! Sloths, monkeys, iguanas... whatever Costa Rica has to offer most of it is in this National Park. Bring your hiking shoes for this one!
As we mentioned above, each one of you will mount an ATV and head for the mountains on this epic adventure. The ATV tour is something you'll remember for the rest of your life. Plus, that ain't all! You will also get airborne like never before! No, not on the ATV. Everyone will get to zip through the jungles high above the ground on the awesome Chitle's Canopy Tour! There is no explaining how awesome it is when you fly past trees 100 feet above the earth! In 2010 we'll have something new! White Water Rafting. We journey into the mountains and climb aboard for an awesome experience! We here at FFAT know what a good time is all about. And we'll delivering it to you.
There's so much on this trip that we've extened our originally planned seven day trip to a now 10-day adventure! And yes, we'll be calling on our local friends to help make this trip that much more exciting and authentic! Elias, Tito, Toro, Chucky, DJ Christian and Julio and more will all make sure that each one of us is having the time of our lives!
